The winners of the 2023 RisingStories International Story Pitching Competition have been officially announced.
After a rigorous review by the main co-organizers, out of nearly 800 submissions, 50 works in both Chinese and English have been selected for the preliminary round. These selected works will now be handed over to a panel of expert judges to collectively choose 10 works for the final proposal conference. The organizers will notify the selected participants of the event schedule through email in the near future. For more information, please stay tuned to the official website and fan page. "2023 RisingStories International Story Pitching Competition" ( "2023 RisingStories"), the submission deadline has closed. This year's competition received nearly 800 entries from 12 countries and regions including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States. Upon learning of this, the Chinese judges on the "2023 RisingStories" , the professional jury, James Wen and Angie Chai, expressed their anticipation. “I didn't expect there to be so many submissions, which also indicates that the creative power of creators is strong now. So, I am very happy to hear this news.”, said James Wen. Angie Chai also stated: “ Compared to the 550 submissions from the first edition, the number of submissions for this year's competition has almost grown by 50%, which indicates that the event is very successful and has attracted more attention from people. I'm very pleased that "2023 Rising Stories" can attract more creators to join.”

The 2023 RisingStories International Story Pitching Competition is a unique opportunity for aspiring writers and storytellers to showcase their creative abilities on an international platform. The competition, which is being organized by Studio76, and co-organized by several leading organizations such as Blintn in South Korea, Weiyu Films in Singapore, GroupM, Mission Entertainment, Southern Flame Ltd. and TDI (Taiwan Dream Institute) in Taiwan, is open for submissions now until April 14th, 2023.

The call for 2023 RisingStories International Story Pitching Competition applications will be opened on February 1, 2023, and a press conference will be held today on 12/22. Its first competition in 2021 attracted more than 550 entries from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, the United States and other parts of the world. This year's event will be expanded, both Chinese and English scripts are eligible for registration. The host and this year's professional judging team were invited to attend this event, and two actor judges James Wen and Hong Huifang also shared their thoughts about being judges this time.
Two production companies — Studio76 from Taiwan and Weiyu Films from Singapore — signed an MOU today at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), announcing their collaboration to organise RisingStories 2023, a screenwriting competition targeted at media professionals seeking to develop their ideas into feature films or episodic television series for the global market.
